GoPro Hero 6 Black action camera with 4K60 Video launched in India at Rs 45,000

Action camera manufacturer GoPro has launched its latest device, the Hero 6 Black at an event in California, USA. Successor to last year's launched Hero 5 Black, the action camera comes with a price tag of Rs 45,000. The action camera is up for grab from the official website of the company worldwide, starting today.

The GoPro Hero 6 is powered by the company's custom-designed GP1 processor, which promises to offer the video frame rates, improved image quality, dynamic range, low-light performance and improved video stabilization.

The camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps and users can also shoot in slow motion at 2.7K at 120fps and 240fps at 1080p. The device comes with a rugged design and is also waterproof. The device features a touchscreen placed on the rear panel which offers touch-to-zoom feature. Along with this, the company also claims that the new Hero camera comes with improved Wi-Fi connectivity and users can even give voice commands to the camera to click a picture.

The company also adds that HERO6 is optimized for QuikStories with 3X faster Wi-Fi. This means your footage will rapidly transfer from your GoPro to your phone where the GoPro App will automatically create QuikStory videos for you.

Along with Hero 6 Black, the company also unveiled its 360-degree camera -- GoPro Fusion. The camera can shoot 360-degree videos of 5.2K resolution at up to 30 frames per second. The device comes with a price tag of $699.99 and is up for pre-order in USA, Canada, United Kingdom and the European Union.

GoPro Fusion is designed to capture both standard and VR content. It's quite small and portable, and is compatible with all GoPro mounts and accessories. The action camera comes with an 'OverCapture' feature that enables users to capture non-VR photos and videos in HD quality. It also allows users to capture everything and select the best frame later.
