The ‘TV of Light’, a name given to Samsung QLED TV for its delivery of optimal brightness levels and stunning visual experience, is ushering in a new era for televisions and transforming the living room of tomorrow with its focus on the lifestyle TV concept

When switched off, the Frame’s display transforms into a work of art despite turning black like conventional TVs. Through its Art Mode feature, the Frame can display your favourite works of art or precious family photos, in customisable layouts, which can be controlled via a mobile device application.

With Samsung Collection, users can choose from more than 100 exclusive works of artin 10 different categories, including landscape, architecture, wildlife, action, drawing and more. Users can also pull from their personal image libraries to showcase family photos on-screen, including a variety of customizable layouts and colour filter options.

Samsung claims that the Frame displays photos on-screen as if they were printed on paper, film or canvas — thanks to the presence of a UHD panel. It is able to switch from its various modes using both a brightness sensor and a motion sensor. The brightness sensor adjusts to ambient lighting and the motion sensor senses whether someone enters or exits the room so as to enable power saving mode. It will switch back on automatically when someone is around.

It has a “No Gap Wall-mount” and the optional studio stand, and the television series sports a slim, sleek and premium metal body which brings the TV flush against the wall, allowing it to hang like a real picture frame. Samsung’s new QLED TVs sport a bezel-less display.

The QLED TV sets from Samsung offer 100 per cent Colour volume, which Samsung says is the highest in the market right now. It also comes with the HDR 2000 functionality to ensure enough details in the viewing picture, and Samsung claims this will mean no loss or distortion of colour.

With the Samsung One Remote, consumers can control most connected TV devices with just one remote control. The enhanced Samsung One Remote now supports more devices and offers voice control capabilities across more Smart TV features.

In addition, Samsung’s latest Smart View App allows users to seamlessly share content from their smartphones to the TV. Users can enjoy a more personalized experience with the new ‘Smart Hub’ interface on the ‘Smart View’ app, The Smart View app supports both Android and iOS mobile devices.
