List of smartphones which recently got a good price cut

If you are planning to buy a smartphone, then this is a good news for you. As you know that whenever new smartphone is launched, then the previous version of that phone generally gets a price cut. But this is not the case every time. When another smartphone is launched with same specification as other, then the price cut is expected.


So I have tried to list down some smartphone which have got the price cut recently. Along with budget smartphones the list also includes flagships like Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Sony Xperia XZs and Vivo V9. So, here's over to 20 smartphones that are now available at lucrative prices.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8: Rs 55,900 (Price-cut of Rs 12,000)
Samsung’s last year’s flagship smartphone -- Galaxy Note 8 also received a price-cut recently. The company has slashed the price of the device by Rs 12,000. Launched at Rs 67,900, the phablet can now be purchased at Rs 55,900. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was the first Samsung device to come with a dual rear camera setup. It runs Android Nougat and is powered by company’s own Exynos processor. The handset comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. Users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.

Nokia 6.1: Starting at Rs 15,499 (Price-cut of Rs 1,500)
The recently launched budget smartphone from Nokia also witnessed a price cut. The company has slashed the price of the Nokia 6.1 smartphone. Both the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM version have got a price cut of Rs 1,500. The 3GB RAM version of Nokia 6.1 is now available at Rs 15,499, while the 4GB RAM version now costs Rs 17,499. Nokia 6.1 features a 5.5-inch full-HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. The Nokia 6.1 is backed by a 3000mAh battery and comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera with LED flash.

Samsung Galaxy A6+: Rs 23,990 (Price-cut of Rs 2,000)
Samsung recently expanded its A series of smartphones with the launch of Galaxy A6+. However, just two months after the launch the smartphone received a price cut. Launched at Rs 25,990, the smartphone is available at Rs 23,990 after the price cut of Rs 2,000. The smartphone runs Android Oreo and sports a 6-inch full-HD+ display. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is backed by a 3500mAh battery and sports a dual rear camera setup.

Samsung Galaxy A6: Rs 20,890 (Price-cut of Rs 2,100)
Along with the Samsung Galaxy A6+, the company also launched the Galaxy A6. The Galaxy A6 has also got a price-cut. Launched at Rs 22,990, the smartphone got a price-drop of Rs 2,100 and can now be purchased at Rs 20,890.The device is powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC and comes with 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone packs 3000mAh battery and offers 4G of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card.

Vivo V9: Rs 20,990 (Price-cut of Rs 2,000)
Vivo's mid-segment smartphone -- V9 has got a price-drop of Rs 2,000. Launched at Rs 22,990, the smartphone can now be purchased at Rs 20,990.The Vivo V9 comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ iPhone X-like notch screen display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and sports a 24MP selfie camera with face unlock. The rear of the device houses a dual camera with 16MP+5MP modules.

Samsung Galaxy J4: Rs 9,990 (Price-cut of Rs 500)
The Samsung Galaxy J4 which the company launched recently has got a price-drop of Rs 500. Launched at Rs 9,990, the smartphone can now be purchased at Rs 9,490. The device features a 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by company’s own Exynos 7570 quad-core processor.
