Summer may be over, but for tech fans - the best time of year is about to begin. Whether you’re a gamer, a tech geek or you simply like testing out the latest and greatest in technology, this roundup of the four most important tech launches coming this season is a must-read.

1. The iPhone 8
Apple recently sent out media invites to its iPhone 8 launch, due to take place on 12 September.  It’s anticipated that the event will launch three new iPhone models - the iPhone 8, the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s plus. While there are rumours about expected features circulating all over the internet, you can expect some surprises as usual from Apple. It’s hoped that wireless charging will become a key new feature of the new iPhone 8, while the front camera is also set to get a high-tech upgrade - ideal for selfie fans. As well as launching new phones there are rumours that Apple will also launch a new 4K Apple TV model, but you’ll have to wait and see for that one.

2. The Xbox One X
It’s been a long few years for gamers, with a lack of brand new consoles on the market. This November, however, will see the highly anticipated launch of the Xbox One X, previously known as Project Scorpio. Described as the ‘world’s most powerful console’, the Xbox One X will feature 4K gaming, faster processing, a huge 12GB GDDR5 of graphic memory and a sleek new design. With a string of new games already pencilled in for release with the Xbox One X, the upcoming season looks set to be a good one for gamers. The console will be available from 7 November, although pre-orders are mostly sold out so you may have to wait to get your hands on this one.

3. Asus ROG Chimera G703
The Asus ROG Chimera G703 is yet to have a release date, but with this gaming laptop already being tested by tech publications - it’s safe to say that release is imminent. The reviews so far are impressive. It has a 144Hz display that makes online gaming an incredible experience, whether you play virtual casino games at or you like to play FarCry on the move - it’s an impressive release for gamers. The hardware may be clunky, but the incredible visuals more than make up for its thicker than usual size.

4. iMac Pro
The iMac Pro is another highly-anticipated release from Apple that looks set to hit stores in December. Aimed at the professional market, Apple has listened to the concerns of those disappointed by the previous iMac release and have upgraded it to include a sleeker Space Grey design, 80% better cooling capacity and an amazing 5K retina display. People are already disappointed that the iMac Pro won’t feature a touchscreen, but with a rumoured 8K display also on the way - there’s much more to come from the Mac range in the future.

With one of the most impressive lineups in recent years, you can guarantee there’s going to be some happy tech fans out there over the coming months. Which tech launches are you most looking forward to this season?
